ADVANCEMENT
fundraising opportunities
(updated August, 2008)
St. Anne Catholic Grade School is active in many different fundraising programs.
Monies collected will help fund classroom needs, teacher's needs and help
contribute to the overall costs of running our school. The
following organizations help our school by providing monies to us when we
participate in these programs:
Campbell’s Labels for Education: This program works on a point system and allows
our school to cut proof of purchase labels from over 150 Campbell products. You
turn in your labels to the school and we will build up points to be eligible to
receive free merchandise such as printers, copiers and other supplies. Please
remember to provide the whole label with the UPC code. To find
out more information as well as all of the eligible products, visit
www.labelsforeducation.com/default.aspx.
General Mills Box Tops for Education: We receive 10c for each box top collected.
Simply cut out Box Tops and send them to school. We are grateful to Janet VanDeVelde who collects and packages them for us. For specific products that
carry these box tops, you can go to
www.boxtops4education.com/ for more
information.
Market Day: Market Day is a monthly food program that earns funds for our school
by ordering from over 180 easy-to-prepare items from their brochure. For over 30
years, Market Day has been providing convenient, healthy foods at a value for
families. Market Day’s mission is raising funds for education, and since its
inception, they have helped raise over $400 million for America’s organizations.
Each month your child will receive a Market Day brochure from the school. Simply
mark the items you would like and send it into the school, or you may order
online. Due dates and pick-up dates are located on the brochure. Our school
receives 10% of each order, sometimes more from specific sales. We have raised
around $2000 each year with this program. Parents are needed each month to help
organize and distribute the orders, which are paid for and picked up at the
school. For more information, contact Sheri Yanik. To view their site, go to:
www.marketday.com/.
Meijer Community Rewards: This program was developed to meet the growing needs
of schools and religious groups to raise funds without product or gift
certificates. Supporters of this program need to apply for a Meijer Credit Card
or Meijer 1 Card. You can apply for these cards at any Meijer store, or you can
join online at Meijer.com/rewards. When signing up, you will need our 6-digit
organizational code, which is 249036. If you already have a Meijer Credit Card,
you need to make sure that you have this new code applied to your card.
When this card is scanned at the checkout register, a percentage of the purchase
totals are rewarded to our school – automatically. Purchases made with a Meijer
credit card earn 1%. Purchases paid with a PIN-based debit card or cash with a
swiped Meijer 1 Card earn 0.5%. You can only use these options for credit toward
our school. Your card will reward our school when you shop at all Meijer
locations, Meijer Gas Stations, Meijer Convenience Stores, Meijer Car Washes and
online Meijer purchases. For more information, visit the link or see Sheri Yanik.

Scrips: Scrips is a program that means “substitute money” – in other words,
scrip is gift certificates you buy from national and local retailers. Scrip
participating retailers, such as JCPenny, The Gap, Shell, Pizza Hut, Red
Lobster, and many more, agree to sell you gift certificates at a discount.
Member families like yours buy the certificates for full face value, they redeem
them for full face value, and your tuition account is credited the difference as
payment. You can enroll online at
www.shopwithscrip.com.
Please check in the main office for your enrollment code .The program coordinator is Sheri Yanik. All orders must be
placed online and the checks for the gift certificates must be paid by check to
St. Anne School. Checks are due in the office by 12:00 p.m. every Monday each
week. See Mrs. Yanik for more details.
Target Redcard Take Charge of Education: By simply shopping with your Target
Visa or Target Card, we receive a percentage from the amount of each purchase
you make. Target will send us a check with the percentage amount we have
acquired. Make sure our school is designated on your card so that we may receive
the proper credit when you use your Target Credit Card. To participate or to see
how much has been contributed towards our next check, please visit the link:

Recycling Projects: Ink Cartridge/Cell Phone. We receive cash for each
empty cartridge and cell phone turned in. There are collection boxes available
in the school office. This is a great opportunity to help the environment, and
an easy way to save money for our school. For more information, contact Mrs.
Yanik.
