School Information/Closing Info

 

Whenever your child is absent or late, you are requested to call the school office (586-264-2911) before 9:30 a.m. If we don't hear from you, we attempt to make contact to verify the absence. This can be very time consuming and less accurate than if you take the initiative and call us. Messages sent through brothers and sisters or neighbors too often result in confusion. If there will be a continuing absence and you have not informed us on the first day, please call us again each day. Everyone's interest is to best ensure the where-a-bouts and safety of the children.

If weather/road conditions should ever necessitate the cancellation of school, radio and TV announcements would be made for "all Warren Consolidated Schools” or “St. Anne Roman Catholic Grade School."

It is possible, although extremely unusual, that developing weather conditions might cause the transportation department to decide to begin the dismissal process earlier than normal on a particular day. Since we would not be able to contact each family, it is important that your child know what to do if they would arrive home a bit early.
