2017/2018 Catholic School Year Tuition and Fees
St. Anne Catholic Grade School is committed to provide a faith based environment of learning for all families who desire a Catholic education. Our goal is to supply a quality education to all families at an affordable price. In doing so, we plan to offer a competitive tuition plan for the 2017-2018 year, which is reasonable compared with other Catholic grade schools in the Archdiocese of Detroit.
WE OFFER TWO TUITION OPTIONS:
Subsidized, also know as in-parish tuition, is reserved for families that are registered as parishioners of St. Anne Catholic Church of Warren, are supportive of parish activities, and contribute a regular donation to the church. Everyone has the option to join the church at any time and to faithfully abide by the expectations of the parish. The tuition cost for a single child for subsidized families is $4,050.00.
Contribution expectations are $500.00 per school year or $10 per weekly donation. Many families have always given beyond this recommendation in the past. Certainly, we will not discourage those who give beyond the contribution level. In-Parish contribution period runs from May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018
New families that become St. Anne parishioners are expected to assume the financial responsibilities to our parish when the child/children are registered and admitted to our school. No students will be admitted if there is a previous balance at another Catholic/private school.
The second option for families to choose from is the non-subsidized plan. The cost for a single child of families not registered at St. Anne Parish of Warren will be $4,800.00
Deposit: The deposit for registration for the 2017-2018 school year is a non-refundable charge. This cost will be applied to the tuition and thus deducted from the tuition balance. Please see chart for deposit requirements. Deposit fees apply to both subsidized and non-subsidized plans
Fees: Book fees, consumables, and classroom supplies are included in the tuition (not Individual student supplies.)
Festival Requirements: ALL school families (PS/PK-8th) are required to commit Twelve (12) hours of service time to the annual St. Anne Sausage Festival. Those wishing to opt out of these service hours will have $1000.00 added to their tuition for the school year. If you have a split family due to divorce, etc., we recommend you split the required time or cost evenly.
Each family will be responsible for $100 worth of raffle tickets for the parish festival, which will be mailed in the spring. Any ticket sales sold over the required $100 will be credited at 50% towards tuition. Additional tickets can be picked up in bundles of up to 200 tickets. Additional tickets will only be handed out once previous ticket stubs and money has been turned in.
Bus Service: Students from any area are welcome to enroll at St. Anne Catholic Grade School. However, only those living within the Warren Consolidated School District are eligible for bus service.
Any checks or ACH payments returned by your financial institution for non-payment will be assessed a $30 charge.
Tuition payments must be paid monthly, unless payment arrangements are made at registration. If a monthly tuition payment is skipped, you will be blocked from viewing your child’s report card until that payment is received. If a second tuition payment is skipped, your child will be unable to attend classes until the past due balance is paid. 2017-2018 St. Anne Pre-School & Pre-K Tuition Plan
Deposit: Deposits are due in May. The deposit for registration for the 2017-2018 school year is a non-refundable charge. This cost will be applied to the tuition and then deducted from the tuition balance. See chart below for deposit requirements.
Other children attending St. Anne: If you have other children that attend the grade school, your PS-PK tuition will be combined with their tuition costs so that you will receive one invoice per month. A credit will be given to pre-school & pre-K families when K-8 siblings are enrolled in the same school year as follows: 1 K-8 sibling = $150.00 credit, 2 K-8 siblings, $250.00 credit, and 3 K-8 siblings, $350.00 credit.
PS-PK is the only child attending school at St. Anne: If you have an only child in the PS-PK program you are required to work twelve (12) hours of festival service time. If you choose not to volunteer, an assessment of $1000 will be added to your tuition balance. If you have a split family due to divorce, etc., we recommend you split the required time or cost evenly. Tuition Payments: You have the option to pay in full by August 1st, make monthly payments by cash, check, automatic banking deduction, or major credit card (no Amer. Express)/debit card.
2017-2018 Tuition Plans:
Plan A – Deposits are due in May. An 11 month payment plan starts in June 2017 and runs through April 2018. Payments are due the 10th of the month. Payments may be made by cash, check, automatic banking deduction, or a major credit card (no Amer. Express)/debit card.
Plan B – Tuition paid in full by August 1st. You will receive a 2% instant credit off your tuition, based on the 2017-2018 St. Anne Grade School tuition chart. Note: A tuition deposit in May is still required.
